General Information and Booking Details

BAGGAGE TRANSFERS
As you walk from location to location, your baggage is door to door, so it picked up at your accommodation and will await you at your next accommodation. We recommend bringing a small rucksack to carry with you during the day, and whilst suitcases are acceptable, we recommend that you bring a minimum. Normally we transfer one piece of baggage only per person, unless otherwise advised. However, any luggage not required during your walking tour can be left with us for your return.

TRANSPORTATION IN SCOTLAND
As you start in one location and finish in another, we are happy to advise on or book any transportation requirements for you, at cost.

AIRPORT/STATION WELCOME
This service is optional in some trekking holidays and included in others. We meet you on arrival at Glasgow railway station, or at Glasgow International Airport. Arrangements can be made for arrivals in Edinburgh, 40 minutes away from Glasgow. You are then transported to your departure point or B&B, familiarised with your tour details. If you come by car, we arrange a rendezvous with you in advance.

CITY BREAKS IN GLASGOW, EDINBURGH and INVERNESS
All our tours can start and finish with an overnight stay in a very good B&B close to our base in Glasgow. We also have a excellent B&B's in Edinburgh, Inverness and Stirling. In addition, since you may wish to extend your stay in one of these cities, by taking a City Break. Over the years we have found that walkers really enjoy extra time to explore these cities, there is so much to see. We provide advice and a City Tour Pack to help you make the most of your stay. These extra days are excellent value. We also have an excellent selected hotels we use for clients requiring this type of accommodation. See the City Breaks page for further details.
